1701 Market Street is an existing 18 story office building consisting of ground floor retail, four levels of above grade parking, and thirteen levels of current existing office building. The acquisition of 1701 Market Street in September of 2023 came after over a year of negotiations in a rising interest rate and challenging capital markets environment. The future re-development of the project will breathe new life into the Center City and the Market Street corridor. Alterra Property Group will re-develop the asset into a luxury apartment building consisting of 299 apartments and maintain the existing 189 parking spaces. Delivery is expected in Spring of 2025.
